Dr. R. Douglas Hardy

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. R. Doug Hardy attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and then completed a combined internal medicine/pediatric residency at UT Health Science Center in Houston. He then returned to Dallas for a combined adult and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center after which he joined the UT Southwestern medical school faculty where he taught and saw patients at Parkland Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, and Amelia Court HIV Clinic. During his time at UT Southwestern, he participated in establishing an adolescent/young adult HIV clinical collaboration between these institutions. In addition, he established a National Institute of Health (NIH) and pharmaceutical funded laboratory investigating mycoplasma, MRSA, and HIV. Dr. Hardy also established and directed a global health collaboration between UT Southwestern and a non-profit NGO HIV clinic in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Next, Dr. Hardy joined an infectious diseases private practice, where he managed adult and pediatric patients at Medical City Dallas Hospital as well as Baylor Scott & White Plano and the Heart Hospital, where he chaired infection control and antibiotic stewardship committees. In 2025, he joined Resource Center Health as Chief Medical Officer with the goal of enhancing and expanding care at the Resource Center.

Family Nurse Practitioner
Rene Resendiz started practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, a Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington, and is credentialed as an HIV Specialist through The American Academy of HIV Medicine. Rene specializes in HIV treatment and prevention, Hepatitis C, and gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. He is passionate about his work with The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and the development of lasting patient-centered relationships. Outside of the office, Rene loves experiencing live music, going to the cinema, reading literary fiction, watercolor painting, and riding his spin bike.
