Comprehensive HIV Resources

Resource Center offers a full array of physical health, mental health and nutrition services for people living with HIV. Based on eligibility, these programs could be free, thanks to the Ryan White Treatment Extension Act and other funding sources.

If you’re living with HIV and need help, you’ve come to the right place. Resource Center offers a comprehensive suite of life-saving health and wellness services. Your first step is to establish your financial eligibility during a Welcome Appointment with one of our eligibility specialists. We are in-network with many insurance plans. 

If you qualify for financial help, you have access to free or reduced-price services such as: 

  • Medical care
  • Assistance with health insurance premiums
  • Help paying for HIV medication copays at our clinic
  • HIV education
  • Food, including a food pantry and hot meals
  • Mental health counseling
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Dental care

Other services availiable through referral, including:

  • Medical case management
  • Housing assistance
  • Home health services
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Legal services
  • Childcare

Eligibility for financial assistance

Clients must meet the eligibility criteria during the Welcome Appointment. For a detailed explanation of what to expect when establishing eligibility, please read “Client Intake and Eligibility” in our Library.

Eligibility: Our eligibility specialists can help you determine your eligibility. These are the basic requirements:

  • HIV services are provided in accordance with the federal Ryan White HIV Treatment Extension Act to people with a diagnosis of HIV who have income at or under 300% of the Federal Poverty Level, Note that eligibility for Ryan White services must be renewed every six months.
  • For the insurance assistance program, patients must have income at or under 400% of the Federal Poverty Level 
  • The outpatient medical care program is for people at or under 500% of the Federal Poverty Level.

 Access for everybody: Services are provided regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, political affiliation, sexual orientation or inability to pay.
