Opened in 2016, the state-of-the-art community center is more than just concrete and bricks, the LGBTQIA+ community center is at the heart of the community, creating a safe, empowering and welcoming space. The center provides youth, family, senior and mental health programs, administration, event and meeting spaces, and more.

Located at 5750 Cedar Springs Rd. in Dallas, the building was designed by I.M. Pei-trained architect James Langford. The 20,000-square-foot building serves as a visual beacon for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. In the shape of a triangle, historically used as a symbol of oppression and shame during World War II, is a symbol of perseverance and advancement of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The community center is home to an impressive collection of art from nationally and internationally-known artists, chosen specifically for how their art interprets and interacts with the history of the North Texas LGBTQIA+ community. Among the artists featured in the collection as either permanent works or loans include: David Aylesworth, Frances Bagley, Kelli Connell, Gabriel Dawe, Heyd Fontenot, Thom Jackson, Ted Kincaid, Annette Lawrence, Pamela Nelson, Wura-Natasha Ogunji, Jay Shinn, Felix Gonzalez Torres and John Wilcox.
