Book Club (On Hiatus)

Date: Mondays
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Virtual on Discord
Focus: Every Monday, we get together to listen to a few chapters of a selected book, and afterward we host a discussion

Lead Facilitator: Volunteer
Additional Notes: A computer is needed to stream the game on the TV so all participants can see the game in real time.

Bi-weekly Programs:

Social night

Date: Mondays
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Community Center (FaCES Adult Suite)
Focus: A night where community members come for fun and fellowship. We play video games & board games, talk about current events, watch our favorite shows and more!

Monthly Programs:

Tea Time

Date: Wednesdays
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Community Center (FaCES Adult Suite)
Focus: A community conversation covering relevant topics concerning gender-expansive folks. Topics range from the joys of sex and body positivity to politics and queer culture and the effects they’ve had on our lives.
Expenses: Varies ( < $200 per year)
Meal Provided: No
Lead Facilitator: Volunteer/Staff (Depending on the topic)

Quarterly Programing:

So, I Met this someone…

Date: Usually on a Monday
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Community Center (FaCES Adult Suite)
Focus: A night where we come together to talk about dating, sex, and relationships. Attendees may discuss how we meet guys, safer sex tips, healthy communication styles, kink culture, and stigma around sex and sexual health These are often themed as well, and that changes month to month. Some are kink-centered, some are D&D-themed, and some are in the style of a murder mystery, etc.

Lead Facilitator: Staff (Volunteer if trained beforehand)
