Third Party Fundraisers
Hosting a fundraising event is a great way to raise money in support of the work of the Center. There are endless possibilities for fundraising events, so be creative and find the right event to appeal to your community and audience.
Register your event: Complete a third party event form under Resources and email as an attachment to Bill Scott at bscott@myresourcecenter.org
AmazonSmile
AmazonSmile, operated by Amazon.com, lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile smile.amazon.com the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by you, the customer. Kroger Community Rewards Program
Kroger supports nonprofit organizations in your community just by shopping at Kroger. It’s easy to enroll in Kroger Community Rewards®!
Visit www.krogercommunityrewards.com and choose your preferred store, create a login and link your Plus Cards to your account. Then enter NPO #81737. Use your Plus Card every time you shop to enable donations to be allocated to Resource Center
Petco Foundation
The mission of the Petco Foundation is to raise the quality of life for pets and people who love and need them.
Visit the Petco store located at 4325 Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX 75225 and ask how you can become part of Petco Foundation with every purchase. Since 2001, Petco Foundation has supported Resource Center with nearly $20,000 in donations.
Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program
Tom Thumb will pay 1% of your total grocery purchases to Resource Center. Since 1997, Tom Thumb has contributed more than $27,000 to support programs of Resource Center.
Fill out the application by clicking the link above. Reference charity #640 and take the completed application to any Tom Thumb or Randall’s courtesy booth to activate your Tom Thumb rewards card.
Beauty Kind
Beauty Kind Gives will donate 5% of your online order to your non-profit organization of choice.
When you are ready to complete your purchase, go to your shopping cart and search for Resource Center of Dallas, Inc. under “Find a Charity.” Select Resource Center of Dallas, Inc. and Beauty Kind will donate 5% of your total purchase at no extra cost to you.
CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services)
Give the gift of a vehicle donation. Vehicle donations help Resource Center continue to provide services and programs to the LGBTQIA+ and HIV communities of North Texas. To give, simply submit an online donation form at https://careasy.org/nonprofit/resource-center or call 1-800-500-RIDE (7433)
Social Media Ambassador Program
Becoming a Social Media Ambassador or #RCambassador is a great way to help extend our reach into the community. Help raise awareness of the Center on social media and at the same time, raise the Center’s awareness of you, its supporter. Find more details check out our guide!
